Before Audrey was born, Kristen and I had a special cuddle time right after her nap. She would wake up and still be a little groggy. I would climb into bed with her and read her a few books. To Market, To Market was her favorite for a while. That was replaced by Apple Tree Farm, which was then replaced by Bambi. Bambi is still requested often, but her new favorite is the Jungle Book.
Since Audrey arrived, Kristen and I have not had as many cuddle times. Audrey is usually awake when Kristen's nap ends. But our special cuddle time has been replaced by something equally precious, sister cuddle time. I put Audrey in Kristen's bed and read to them both. Sometimes Kristen pays attention to the story, but most of the time, she kisses and hugs on Audrey.
