Rocky, our next door neighbor is probably her favorite. We go "see'm" often. We also "feed' em" often. "Bones" "big bones" and "little bones" and she is sooooo enthusiastic when she says these words and she smiles really big and concentrates and almost shouts the words. You can see her making the first sound with her mouth for several seconds before she says the word. She just gets a kick out of talking about it. In Branson, we feed the fish out by the lake and she loved talking about it. She loved doing it too.
Kristen loves animals. We have gone to a petting zoo several times and she has had soooo much fun. She loves to name all the animals she saw. She needs a little coaxing to tell stories. I try to encourage her by giving her a word or two or asking her a question and that helps her tell daddy about her day.
We went to the KC Zoo in March. Kristen was a little young to appreciate it.... and a lot of the animals were sleeping when we went through. But Kristen did like seeing the elephant. I think it is her favorite animal.
Sometimes we go to a nearby pet store so Kristen can look at the fish, snakes, bunnies, birds and the monkey.
However, she doesn't like squirrels eating the Cardinals bird seeds. She will yell "get" at them.
