Our Vacation in Branson

We had a great time in Branson.

We spent most of our days in the pool playing.

The girls loved splashing, floating and learning to swim.

When we weren't at the pool, you could find us down at the lake....

which both of the girls called the creek.

Audrey loved throwing rocks as much as her sister.

The hotel we stayed at was great!

With lots of room and very comfortable.

Unfortunately, I think we stained the cloth chairs and the carpeted dining room.

Next year we will not be having spaghetti.

Or blueberries.

Why would anyone put carpet in the dinning room???

Maybe they wanted us to eat outside at this table?

And watch the squirrels.

One day we ventured away from the hotel and went to a fish hatchery.

The girls loved feeding the fish.

Make sure you watch one of the videos in a later post.  Audrey's call to the fishies is hilarious!

Some of you are probably wondering how the girls slept?

Not great is the answer. Naps were awful, with the introduction of the girls getting out of bed so many times I stopped counting (and started screaming,) which has continued now that we are back home. I am again looking into sleep books, websites, etc. Grrr. The nights weren’t terrible. Both girls woke up a couple times per night, but went back to sleep pretty quickly

The girls loved going to the grocery store....

because they got their own carts.

We only went twice this year.  Yeah us!!!

Nanna and Debbie came to stay with us for a couple of days.

It was fun playing at the pool with them.

And they watched the girls one evening for Phil and I to go on a date.

It was nice to go out sans kids and walk around Branson.

On our last evening in Branson, my mother took us all to the Dixie Stampede.

It was a great show and the kids loved the horses.

We ended our stay in Branson with one last dip in the pool.

totally agree on the carpeted living room...its hard enough to keep clean with only 2 adults!
