We decided to bring up Audrey's big girl mattress, sheets and blankets a few days ago. We wanted to introduce the bed to her, let her play on it, read on it and possibly nap on it for a few days before taking down the crib.
Audrey loved her new bed. Unfortunately, she loved it too much and wanted to play on it all day for the three days we had it out. She played on it so much that she didn't see it as a bed... but a toy. So when she "napped" on it, she really sang, looked at books and played on it. After three days of virtually no naps, I decided to put the mattress away and try again in six months. oh well.
